What is Low Self-Esteem?
Your self-esteem is basically what you think of yourself. Good self-esteem can provide you resilience for the ups and downs of life, protect you against criticism, and allow you to celebrate your achievements. Low self-esteem on the other hand forces you to live with a cruel bully voice that never shuts up. Low self-esteem can infiltrate every area of your life, causing self-doubt at work, questioning yourself when socialising, and in general just hating everything about yourself. It makes enjoying life pretty impossible, and it’s knackering.
