Over the years I have tried a number of counsellors and psychologists. There seemed no hope of getting any understanding of my continued depression. Then I was referred to Hannah. Someone who knew quickly where my issues started. Once I had that, the sessions built success and enabled me to understand and control my future. Its not gone but it makes sense. I would highly recommend her services.

Hannah is absolutely fantastic at what she does. She has enabled me to turn my life around from a very difficult place. She is an inspiration, and a fantastic therapist.

Frequently Asked Questions – FAQS
What type of therapist are you, what are your qualifications, experience and accreditations?
I’m a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I have a post-graduate degree in CBT, which I completed in 2013. I had been working as a CBT Therapist full time since then. I am accredited with the BABCP. I have been working in therapy services since 2008. I worked in NHS funded services for 10 years.
Who do you work with in therapy?
I work with adults, and only individually. This means I don’t work with under 18s, and I don’t work with couples. I specialise in working with busy professionals looking for help with anxiety and stress.
How do I know if I need therapy?
Just the fact that you’re considering it, suggests it’s likely already time for therapy. Most clients in therapy say they wish they had done it sooner. If you are being negatively impacted by your emotions, if your thoughts are getting in the way, if you’re struggling to live the way you want to, therapy could help. The need for therapy generally arises when the consequences start to really show themselves and you just functioning is starting to feel difficult.
How many therapy sessions will I need?
Typically, clients will come for between 6-20 sessions, depending on how much input they want or need. Some clients will come for a smaller number of sessions to gain self-insight and learn effective strategies and then continue implementing this by themselves. Others will choose to have weekly sessions for support until they have fully overcome their problem.
When and where do you offer therapy sessions?
I’m a therapist with my own private therapy room in Middlewich in Cheshire. I also deliver Online CBT Therapy via Zoom. I work Monday-Friday 10:00am – 6:00pm with appointments between 10.30am and 5.30pm. You can book online here.
Where I can I read reviews of you as a therapist?
You can read reviews of me on both Google and Trustpilot.
Will you contact my GP?
Not usually. We only contact other professionals such as GPs if there is a concern about your or someone else’s safety. Otherwise, private therapy is confidential and is not recorded on your medical record.
